Second track from the album “A Flight of Stories.” Stone Soup is a story I have known for a long time. One of my favourite versions is from a picture book by Jon Muth, but this version returns the story back to its origins in Europe before 1750 and the terrible results of war. My research makes me believe the oldest version comes from Russia, but there are many variants of the tale.
