Roll up, roll up! Stories for the summer reading program - Adventures Begin at the Library. Tonight, Wednesday, July 10th, the adventures will be told by storyteller and humorist Simon Brooks. Simon comes from the UK, although he has made New Hampshire his home for the last 20 years.

Come to this fun, free and open to the whole family event, starting at 6 pm.

Silliness, songs, stories and poetry. The theme is trains and railroads and Simon will be debuting a ghost story that may or may not be true!

Simon Brooks will be traveling down to New York City to stand at the Hans Cristian Andersen Statue in Central Park and share stories, including one Andersen tale.

The event is free!

Bring your ears, a blanket to sit on, or a chair and be part of the most icon NYC tale telling venue for families.

Starts at 11 am in the morning, and runs until 12 noon at the Andersen Statue, Conservatory Pond, east side of the park 74th Street. The Andersen monument is one of several child-friendly features at Conservatory Water. Just to the north is another beloved and climbable statue, Alice in Wonderland.

Love stories are not always lovey-dovey, some are naughty, some are filled with pathos, some warm you deep within. Simon Brooks will be weaving his stories at Talespinners Brewery, Rambling House in Nashua, New Hampshire - live and in-person!
