  • Waterville Valley Town Square Route 49, Village Road Waterville Valley, New Hampshire USA (map)

This year's feature at this weekend event is storyteller Simon Brooks

A slew of storytelling is going on all day, with many storytellers. This years feature storyteller is Simon Brooks. Born in Gloucestershire, England, and raised in Worcester, England, Simon moved to the United States in 1994. He has lived in Portland, Oregon; Boston, Massachusetts; and in New Hampshire. Simon’s work as a storyteller and voice actor has won honors from Storytelling World and Parent's Choice, including the latter's prestigious Gold Award for his CDs. Simon is also an accomplished photographer as well as a published writer and poet. Simon tells folk tales, myths and legends for both adult audiences and for young people. He tells fairy tales and, on the odd occasion, personal stories too. Simon can be found performing at festivals and concerts. He works in all communities, telling tales and teaching every demographic from 'at-risk' communities, to ivy league institutes, and all points between. Learn more about Simon on his website.
