I found this story in a book called “Tales Our Abuelitas Told” by Alma Flor Ada and Isabel Campoy. They gave Simon permission to retell this wonderful story.
Simon’s second album recorded with Stevens Blanchard also in Vermont, in 2008. This album received a Silver Honors from Parents’ Choice. It featured original music composed by Simon Brooks (bodhrán), Steve Glazer (guitar), Rick Barrows (mandolin & tenor banjo), and Greg Gundlach (guitar).
