In January 2020 Jeff Doyle and Ingrid Nixon got in touch with six other storytellers from all over America to create a cohort. The other storytellers are me, Sheila Arnold, Norm Brecke, Antonio Rocha, Anne Rutherford, and Paul Strickland. As we worked together on our own material, helping, supporting, coaching each other, helping each other out as the pandemic hit, we ended up with a bunch of new material with nowhere to share it, so we began to product on-line concerts. For the first year, we presented eight concerts starting in March, and the second year I think we did ten. As things got back to the new normal, whatever that is, we ended up doing about 8 concerts a year, where we shared new material for what became a solid fan base.
Monday, the 16th March (today) we are saying a fond farewell, as our lives are have become full, and trying to coordinate and have new material has become increasingly hard on such a regular basis.
These concerts have always been free to attend. We have asked for support, as this is our living, but we have not put a paywall on our live shows. If you donate, support, drop some coin, you get a link to the recording so you can view again later, or just later if you cannot make it on the night. This will be our Au Revoir Concert with new stories to share. It will be our last hurrah, as this gang of eight.
I hope you can make it.
