Seanachie Nights - Stories for Grown Ups!

Want a great evening in a pub with some great Celtic tales? Then head over to Bull Freeny's in Portsmouth, MAINE.

Some people call them the Fey. Others call them the Wee Folk. Sometimes they are known as the Little People, or the Little Ladies and Gentlemen. One thing you should never address the Gentle Folk as, is Faeries. These folk can look after your farm if you look after them, some may spin gold for you, but beware the day you step on the wrong side of the Fey.

The Celtic/Gaelic stories Simon Brooks will be sharing come from Ireland and Scotland, England and Wales. Tales of poor players of the harp, bakers and mothers who want their stolen children returned to them, and the one of the best stories of the Elven Folk – Tam Lin. The tales will be deep, humorous and a fun evening will be had by all.

This evening of stories will begin at 7pm and run until 9pm with (hopefully if Simon does not get carried away again) a break!

Admission is free, with a suggested $9.00 donation.
