From Children to adults
Are you looking for YOUR storyteller? Simon Brooks has been telling folk and fairy stories to young people since 1991 and has been telling tales as a profession since 2003. Simon works in schools and libraries, summer and winter camps, with scout and girl guide troops, home school settings and at festivals, and parks & recreation organizations. With an easy ability to identify with young people and easy way about him, Simon is YOUR storyteller!
Not all folk and fairy stories, myths and legends are for young people. In fact there is a large number of tales which are NOT for young people. If you want to thrill and entertain middle school, and high school students, Simon is your man! He regularly tells his stories to adult audiences (as well as telling to adults at kids shows (the kids don't know)! Venues include schools, libraries, colleges, inns, hospitals and museums and more.
Teachers are professional teachers, Simon is a professional public speaker and storyteller. Schools, colleges, museums, hospitals, and libraries, ask for Simon, who teaches every demographic through 'at-risk' communities to ivy league institutes and all points between. He makes people comfortable when teaching others in the art of public speaking and storytelling, and Simon educates to the core curriculum.
