Simon
had an outside audience of over 100 children, of mixed ages, in the
palm of his hand last August. Not only were the kids a rapt audience
as he told stories ranging from the classic Wiley and the Hairy
Man to a comical tale of animals shirking their clean-up duties
(think animal noises and feigned sickness)but also, it was reported
after the show, many of the children incorporated his storytelling style
into their own stories describing how some graffiti appeared in town.
If you want to showcase storytelling at your institution be sure to
