"Dear Simon, I was at the Franklin Public Library Tuesday this week with my grandson. During the storytelling, he was collapsed in his chair or in my lap. When we came back upstairs after storytelling had ended, he was anxious to leave. Later that afternoon, we played outside in the hot sun. We gathered all the large containers we could find and filled them with water from the garden hose. The water was very cold. I filled a jug with hot water from the kitchen sink and dumped it into the chosen pool. I tested the water. He tested the water. I said "We need some more..."
My grandson finished the sentence this way: "We need some more Simon Brooks."
I agree."

"Saturday night was 'wicked good' as they say in N.H. My granddaughter said they were the best stories she's ever heard. We truly appreciated your performance. Thanks...Judi K."
