This
page contains a list of links to sites that I have some sort of
affinity to. I either use the sites, like them, or have some sort
of connection to the site (for example I am a huge fan of Steve
Harley and Cockney Rebel; my brother's site etc)
Storytelling Aides:

- Steve

Please visit him on line. You might be interested in his work,
which weaves together the strands of education, recreation and
conservation. Not only that he is a great mediator.

and information packed website where there are podcasts of so
many storytellers, it is hard toknow where to begin - all about

story collections. Stories from many parts of the world are
included here.
From Around the World: The stories in this collection
represent a small sampling of the rich storytelling art that
is the common heritage of humanity. Stories from many parts
of the world are included here.
- Famous
American stories can be found at Famous
American Folktales and Stories - funny that!
- Electronic
texts of many folk tales: http://www.pitt.edu/~dash/folktexts.html
- What used
to be a power house for myth and folk is still pretty strong
on the web: Pantheon.org
- English
storyteller and guru, Ben Heggarty, c/o the Crick
Crack Club
- English
storyteller Tim
Shepard
- Facts
and Fiction, the UK's premier storytelling magazine
- The
storytelling resource center
- The League
for the Advancement of New England Storytelling - LANES
- National
Storytelling Network (NSN).
The major national storytelling membership organization, based
in Jonesborough TN
- Jay
O'Callahan
is one of my favourite tellers as he tells so deeply from the
heart. All of his stories have kept me riveted and I have been
enriched by his telling.
- Another
storyteller who blows me away is Elizabeth
Ellis
- Story Dynamics
of Doug
Lipman
- A master
storyteller Odds
Bodkin
- And of
course, Jim
Weiss
TOP
Technical Stuff:
- Search
engine, the only one you will ever need: Google.com
Well... you know what I mean!
- One of
the best resources for technical questions or when you need
to know: What
Is
- ColdFusion
Studio, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver were the products once used
to build this site: Macromedia,
now Adobe!
TOP
News and All That
- Be amazed
by what you can learn here. The best resource for news and truth
(at least the way I see it) without sensationalism: PBS
- The
B.B.C.
another source of truth without sensationalism.
- Orford,
NH : it's where we live!
TOP
Friends, Colleagues
and Countrymen:
- A great,
new friend of mine, wonderful storyteller and human being, Tony
Toledo
who lives somewhere sort of near to Boston, MA!
- Angela
Klingler is another wonderful friend and storyteller.
She is in Salem, NH
- Stevens
Blanchard my sound man, recording engineer, studio, and
contributor on my second CD, More Second-hand Tales
- Kristina
Stykos can be found at: www.kristinastykos.com
Why? Because she is a great musician and fab sound engineer. She
recorded my storytelling CD, Second-hand Tales. You can buy it
at CDBaby.com
- I worked
with Pat
Spalding at a gig in Rochester, NH - three grades of kids,
each group was between 250 and 325 students and we had a blast.
We became good friends and she is also a great teller of tales
- My brother
has a fun filled site, called The
World Of Colin and also now has his own business!
One Man and Your Dog!
- Great friend
and teacher, Nick

resource and local Boston area party portal. Fountain
xix
- A friend
of mine, Cass Seeley and the CJM
Group
- Valley
Quest, part of the non-profit organization, Vital Communities.
Valley
Quest is close to my heart as it is part of the letterboxing
culture that got me back into art by cutting
rubber stamps. I now hide these stamps for people to find
and take an impression of (not to remove the stamp)!
- UltraJosh,
the man who got me into Allaire and pushed my HTML skills and
who let me jam on his songs when Josh was writing new material
- Dan
Zanes and Friends
needs to be under the friends heading. I do not know him personally,
but... Dan plays with a fantastic band, putting on a great live
show. And just when you realize that you cannot live without the
wonderful upbeat music you can go and buy his CD's too! You do
not need to be a kid to listen to Dan Zanes, far from it (I find
myself listening to his CD's in the car when I am on my own) but
you might want to take a kid or two to the shows! Not only is
the music great but the culture that surrounds him, his ambiance,
his grace, is a pleasure. A human being who glows beauty from
the inside

Pop Culture:
- A namesake
of sorts, a hero of sorts, whatever he is, he drove the coolest
car in his 1960's t.v. series: Simon
Templer
- What Pop
Culture Page would complete without The
Batman 1966 tv show!
- And here
is that coolest car, greater than even the Baracuda, and one day
I will own one. The Volvo
P1800
- This man's
music and lyrics inspire me, Steve
Harley and Cockney Rebel
- Although
this band are, to the best of my knowledge, at this point,
still defunked, it is Sarah's favourite band: Phish
- Another tribute
to my childhood is the Gerry Anderson tv shows, the Legendary
Captain
Scarlet and the cult classic Thunderbirds
and here is the Gerry
Anderson Fab Club Site just in case!
- A little
something for the kids, no matter what age: the 'real' world of
Harry
Potter and the movie
world of Harry Potter
- I thought
about putting this fella under countryman, but he is not really
British. So pop culture it is, yeah baby! Austin
Powers
